1. Marketplace relationship
JOXYS operates a marketplace that connects independent merchants with customers. Acceptance does not create employment, partnership or agency between JOXYS and the merchant.
2. Commission
JOXYS commission normally ranges from 10% to 25% depending on the category and commercial arrangement. The final rate is set during approval, communicated to the merchant, and deducted from eligible order amounts.
3. Registration fee
The standard one-time registration fee is EGP 1,500 for account setup and initial photo preparation. It is generally non-refundable once work begins. JOXYS may grant a partial or full discount through an authorised coupon.
4. Orders and fulfilment
The merchant must follow the selected fulfilment model, keep inventory and delivery information accurate, and process orders within the published service levels. Customer information is supplied only where operationally necessary.
5. Payments and payouts
JOXYS records marketplace transactions and makes periodic payouts after applicable commissions, refunds, adjustments and holds. The merchant must notify JOXYS in writing before changing a payout destination.
Commission & Fees Disclosure
When you sell products on JOXYS, two separate fees are deducted from each sale:
- Sales commission: A set percentage based on your account's commission schedule (visible in your dashboard), deducted from each order's value upon completion.
- Withdrawal fee: A percentage or flat amount deducted only when you request a balance withdrawal, varying by the payout method you choose (bank transfer, InstaPay, or e-wallet). You can check the current withdrawal fee for each method on the "Withdraw Balance" page before confirming any withdrawal request.
Example: If you make EGP 100 in sales with a 10% sales commission, your payable balance becomes EGP 90. If you then request a withdrawal via InstaPay with a 2% withdrawal fee, you will receive EGP 88.20 net.
You can always see the exact net amount you will receive before confirming any withdrawal, as the system displays a full breakdown of the requested amount, the withdrawal fee, and the final net total.
6. Merchant responsibilities
Products, descriptions, prices, images and availability must be accurate and lawful. The merchant must meet fulfilment deadlines, honour returns and warranties, and must not list prohibited, counterfeit or misleading goods.
7. Suspension and termination
JOXYS may suspend or terminate access to protect customers, comply with law, investigate fraud, address repeated service failures or enforce these terms. Outstanding obligations survive termination.
8. Privacy and confidential records
Identity, legal and payment documents are stored privately and made available only to authorised reviewers. Customer data may be used only to fulfil the relevant order and may not be retained, sold or used for unrelated marketing.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and disputes are subject to the competent Egyptian courts unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
